The building has solar panels to help generate electricity for common area lighting, and has also received aid from the State of New Jersey Green Homes Program to use “green” materials for finishes like carpet, floor tiles, kitchen cabinets, ceiling tiles etc.
Barrier-Free Living
Project Freedom at Trent Center is not a nursing home, assisted living or a medical facility and does not provide supervision or personal assistance. However, Project Freedom at Trent Center gives you access to resources that provide valuable assistance with housekeeping and recreational activities at affordable rates.
Affordable Leases
The apartments are administered through a lease and applicants must have an annual income greater than $22,000 for one-person household to be considered. Although these apartments are specially designed to allow independence for people (18 and older) using wheelchairs and they are given first preference, individuals and seniors with other disabilities are also welcome.

The Trenton Transit Center is located across the street, New Jersey Transit bus stops are located in front of the building and gas stations are within two blocks. In addition, there is easy access to Route 1, Route 29 and Route 129. Interstate 95/295 is an easy drive north on Route 1.
